A paltry 40,000 fans showed to watch the home opener of Dem Bones vs a decimated Woodelf team.  The 
deadites were so confident in victory, that their Necromancer Skeletor, didn't even bother to raise 
them for any practices.  These Bad Habits manifested themselves during the game.  If it 
wasn't for the unusual leadership ability of the Wishbone, who knows what would have happened.  

The Fremmblers took the opening kickoff, and in an amazing show of bravery seemed determined to 
take down a mummy no matter what the cost. Needless to say this was ineffectual, and they 
downgraded their strategy to "let's just take down a zombie", which they were slightly more 
successful with.  Dem bones played zone defense and played the numbers game.   Eventually the three 
remaining woodelfs made a rush down the left side of the field.  They were bottled up and Wishbone 
made an unassisted open field tackle that knocked the ball OB.  The throw-in was into midfield  
where a Mummy attempted the rare pickup.  It was unsuccessful, but the damage was done. Count 
Scapula scooped up the ball and made a hand-off to Fibula who scored late in the half.  

There were only 4 elfs available for the second half kickoff.  So it was pretty much a cake walk.  
by turn 5 there wasn't an elf on the pitch, and after the easy score, only 2 of the 3 elfs still 
available were willing to play and the game was stopped. 

After the game Skeletor stumbled over a landscapers chainsaw, picked it up, thought for a moment,  
formed an even more ghastly grin, and was last seen headed down to his Zombie lab deep in the 
bowels of the stadium's lockerrooms.

Commentary from da Coach: Had a 3 man advantage to start the game. had to lighten up to be 
sure we got to the second half. Didnt matter too much as the by the time I scored in the the 
second, the Woodelves were down to 3 in the KO box.  The 1st two wanted to play, but number three 
threw in the towel.  One card Secret Way was left unplayed.  Kevin had Bad Habits! 
and Extra Training.
