Weather for the game was Sweltering Heat which persisted for the entire game.
Orcs took Kick-off. The ball sailed way, way, way back all the way to the EZ. Their initial turn
was semi-successful, the free-booted Catcher was seriously injured, unfortunately the
Blitzer sent back to pickup the ball failed to get it. By turn two Griff was back there and the orc
was crowd surfing. The key play of the game (perhaps) was that I had Anxious go back to
pickup the ball, she ducked the obligatory lightning bolt and scored. On the next kickoff I got
a blitz, therefore had as many people in the backfield as he did. The orcs couldn't pickup the
ball, keep the ball if they had it, or even move it if they would have, as they were bottled up on
the sidelines. Eventually they flubbed a pickup out of bounds practically handing it to my
Nuns. We picked it up and scored going up 2-0 at the half. The heat forced Griff to sit out
our drive to start the second, meaning I'd actually have to earn a score. I caged up and
swept right, I think the orcs overcommited a bit, but they did stop up the right side. I reversed
the field and was able to score going left. 3-0, pretty much put it away, but the ensuing riot
burned the rest of the turns (5) ending the game.

Commentary from da Coach: Basically I don't think the Orcs had enough talent on
the field to win this game. They would have needed good blocking, fortuitive casualty rolls,
and no mistakes on the offensive side of the ball. They got none of that, the only good roll
James made was to successfully argue the call on his DP's first foul ejection.
Overall, this season worked out nicely, I was able to spread my SPPs around giving
everyone Block/Dodge. When Oberwald and the Unicorn came onboard late, it gave me
both the offensive AND defensive punch I needed to win important games. That would have
occured a lot sooner if not for timely robbed/bankruptcy events. That being said, the main
thing I have come to the conclusion of this season (after goblins/halflings/amazons) is that
you cannot count on Dodge to clear AG 3 players out of tackle-zones. You are better off
using conventional tactics and relying on Dodge helping out when being blocked.
