After their humiliating mauling received from the Half Pints in their first game, the White
Meat Orc Chops came to the second game with blood on their minds. The Dwarves were able to score
in the middle of the first half but at a cost in casualties. A head sized stone creamed another
Dwarf player before the second kick off even started. White Meat players struggled to tie
it up before the half ended because of the Pints spirited defense. The first half results were a
one to one score, a riot, One dead Dwarf, one mangled Dwarf (who may never walk again), and one
crippled Black Orc.
Despite White Meats obvious effort to cage and plow, the Half Pints applied so much pressure
on the Orcs that they were forced to score earlier than they had wanted. This allowed the Dwarves
to tie the game even though the Orcs had a blitz that initially cut the Pints off from the ball. A
dash and pass by the fastest Dwarven Runner in Blood Bowl was the Pints remedy. At two to Two with
another Dwarf casualty and an ejection, the teams were forced into O.T. play.
Another riot delayed the Orcs kick off, but when play began it looked like the Half Pints
would easily sweep around the Orcs and score. However the White Meats produced a desperate assault
that fed the Pints ball carrier into the crowd which set White Meat up to recover the ball. The
exhausted Dwarves failed three blocks in a row allowing the victory to slip into green hands.
