Blizzard was blowing the whole game, which worked out great. Fans were with me for 2 Cheering Fans, then had a Blitz on one kick off that went my way, and then a Pitch Invasion near the end! Dice started off a bit cool for me, but heated up later. I had one card: Healing Scroll. Hobbits had This May Hurt a Bit and Speed of Light. Tried to raise a Zombie from a killed hobbit, but found out that it doesn't work on them... His cards: Rakkarth's Obliteration Spell, Flu Bug, and Extra Training. Lots of cracking this game, but sadly not much crunching (low on casualties). Still, solid win. I had an early lead, but the Lizards' offense was too tough, and he tied it up and then pulled ahead in the second half.. A goof up late in the first half cost me a player on the pitch, and the Count got cozy in the knock-out bin. My defense did manage to keep the game from becoming a blow-out, though. No casualties scored until near the end of the game, when Hoozyur Mummy finally scored a serious injury. The darned Lizards outcasualtied me! Count Luthor was at the top of his game. Extra training got me to buy a reroll for half price (making me that much farther away from hiring my star mummy). First half was a disaster, but our defense was hot in second half. Groovy Ghoul(y) got killed - so much for my niggler. Lots of knock downs, but the dice were 'stunning'! :p He managed to get his chainsaw going and use it to good effect to get my players off the field. I started my chainsaw, too, but was 'stunned' by its performance. :( Six-turn Riot at beginning of Second Half which put the kibosh on my offense. Tried to score with the Count using Time Warp, but I was Double-Crossed and lost the card. Game went into Overtime. Pitch Invasion at beginning of OT causing 6 injuries to Humans, including four casualties and one death (Morg'N'Thorg! - unfortunately, he got apothecaried). Darned pitch invasion provided only team casualties of the game. :p Reaper the Wight got the TD and learned Pro.
